I am literally shook right now. My gay heart is soaring! Anyone who knows me knows what Britney Spears means to me, and how much of an impact her, and her music have had on my life. This evening Sir Elton John, and Britney Spears released their highly anticipated single "Hold Me Closer", a modern take on Elton John's 1970's song "Tiny Dancer" This song has had a lot of hype the past few weeks, ranging from speculation on if it was just a rumor to Paris Hilton confirming that the track existed, and that it was AMAZING!

It has been an agonizingly long six years since Spears last album "Glory" in 2016, and it has been worth the wait! She has been in the news quite a bit the past few years with the #FreeBriteny Movement, and her ongoing legal battles with her father, so the release of new music has been a nice change of headlines! It has been up in the air for a while on if she was ever going to return to music.

John approached Spears about the project and being a long-time fan she accepted, and now the world has this collaboration! I cannot think of a more Iconic duo! Britney sounds better than ever as her vocals blend flawlessly with the legendary vocalist. "Hold Me Closer" is already #1 on the UK iTunes Charts, and #8 in the United States at the time of writing this post. This song is the perfect way to close out the summer!
